Morgan appeared in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informative video about AIDS prevention and education. Some of the proceeds were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the disease. She also addressed the Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has been asked to be his substitute at AIDS events and she has presented an AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline together with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated as one of the Emmy award winner in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. The spring, she starred with Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by By Zerneck and Sertner and featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg to film Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan was also the protagonist in a thriller about psychological issues that was solely produced by the USA Network. It received one of the highest ratings that the network has ever had.
